Yaz is a Comorian artist whose passion for drawing began at an early age, sketching everything that came to mind before deciding to turn that instinct into a profession. In 2020, he joined Laboratoire d’Arts, a Comorian association dedicated to supporting young artists, where he developed both his artistic voice and professional foundations.
He later collaborated with Swana Studio, contributing to the creation of a mural in Dubai for Montblanc International. The experience strengthened his ambition to build an independent career with an international outlook, carrying his work beyond the islands of the Indian Ocean.
In 2025, Yaz exhibited a series of 11 works at the World Culture Festival in Karachi, Pakistan, a pivotal moment in his journey. That same year, he received the Talent Prize Award at the 12th Portrait Competition organised by TERAVARNA, marking growing international recognition of his work.
