Pierre Mukombi is a visual artist, graphic designer and teacher-researcher from the Democratic Republic of Congo whose work sits at the intersection of culture, identity and knowledge transmission. Through a refined and symbolic visual language, he reinterprets traditional Kuba geometric motifs into contemporary compositions that blend precision, minimalism and cultural storytelling.
Alongside over a decade of experience working across leading African communication agencies including Publicis Africa, Voodoo Group and Pygma, Pierre is also the founder of initiatives such as the Congo Creative Awards and Kolloque du Design, while continuing to mentor the next generation of creatives through his teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa.
