Paula Garcia is an illustrator and animator based in Helsinki. Originally from the Philippines, her work is inspired by nature, animals, travel, magic realism, and science fiction. Whilst her style is best known for her vibrant colours and playful textures.

Originally graduating from Bangkok University in Thailand, Paula moved to Finland to forge a career as a graphic design before shifting her practice to solely focus on illustration and animation. This shift has led to her illustrations and animations appearing in various fields, such as advertising, exhibitions, editorial, websites, film festivals, and social media. 

Throughout this time, Paula has collaborated with some super cool clients, including Adobe, Fortnum and Snapchat. Whilst also showcasing her art in various exhibitions in China, Serbia and Finland.
