Joseba Elorza (a.k.a. MiraRuido) is our generation's premier sci-fi surrealist, a digital artist, illustrator and animator, hailing form the Basque Country, Spain. He tries to make his creations go beyond being just a pretty picture; by creating impossible worlds and implausible situations, the purpose is to produce in the viewer feelings of uneasiness or disbelief.

Joseba creates worlds that don’t yet exist, or maybe they do, creations straddle the line between past and future. The result is something surprising, that while taking elements from different eras manages to be almost plausible and always well balanced, these unique worlds made of unknown universes and retro aesthetics, are a very strange combination, but this is the cleverly built imagination of Joseba Elorza in his wonderful art.

His science fiction-influenced collage work, which features surreal proportions and landscapes, have appeared in Esquire, New Scientist, and a number of other publications. Whilst the Spaniard has directed videos for clients like National Geographic, Amazon and bands like Green Day, among others.
