Maria Pavel, also known as 'Ginger Artsy,' is a Romanian visual artist and writer based in Dubai, UAE. An art University graduate with a background in Fashion Design, she worked as a Visual Merchandising Manager in fashion retail before returning to painting, her first love. Maria's painting style is influenced by contemporary feminine archetypes, abstract shapes, vibrant colors with black contouring, cubism, and pop art.

Maria's art aims to express her emotional states and represent various human body forms, especially portraits. Her collections focus on harmonious combinations of vibrant and pastel tones, accentuated by darker shades and pure black, blending influences from pop Art and cubism. Each artwork, whether figurative, abstract, doodles, or fluid, carries a narrative rooted in deep emotions or serves as inspiration.

In her artistic process, Maria predominantly uses a mix of acrylic paints and decorative markers, along with pouring acrylic on canvas and employing fabric paints resistant to transfer. Her artistic journey is also marked by influences from fashion design, leading her to incorporate hand-painted sneakers, jackets, and tote bags into her creative portfolio.
