Luis is a Mexican graphic designer/illustrator currently based in Guatemala. Most of Luis’ work is colorful, conceptual and expressive. He loves to use and experiment with a variety of mediums. He’s influenced by folk stories, daily routines, graphic novels, art, history and pop culture. 

Luis works from sketches to create concepts that are magical, joyful, and often whimsical. His style is related directly to his Latino roots and cultural heritage, often super bright and exploding with colour! Many of his works feature a motif seen frequently in Mexican graphic design—flat and brightly colored backgrounds which offer contrast to detailed, multicolored subject matter.

The multi-award winner has seen his illustrations appear in advertising, murals and magazines, for clients that include Google, Amazon Music, Pepsico, Adobe, Bloomsbury, Easy Jet Traveller, McDonalds and many more.
