Jati Putra is an Indonesian graphic designer that is famous for his surreal landscapes. His artworks are inspired by Christopher Nolan‘s movie “Inception”; Jati is able to flip reality and gravity perception making us fall into a dreamlike world.
Turning oceans on their sides and beaches into XXL stadiums, graphic designer Jati Putra distorts images through a process of digital bending and layering that confuses the senses as to whether it’s upside down or not.
Putra’s paintings make us feel like his unusual world is commonplace, and the reality we know is only a dream. We come face to face with dimensions and senses that may, in fact, exist beyond our reasoning.
