Emily Evans is a British illustrator and designer known for her collage work across both static and moving image projects. Emily likes working on briefs with strong content, aiming to get to the root of these issues and then showcasing the feelings and experiences through her art.

Emily has a love for photocopying images and the slow process of distressing them through reproduction. Never having really been drawn to clean or realistic styles she prefers artwork that is imperfect with depth. These layers and depth are really important to Emily, with some of her creations including content from ten different books that have been drawn on top of, then photocopied, then blown up, and then just the resulting texture used, with the original image unseen. Overall Emily enjoys the process just as much as the resulting textures.

This year Emily has created the album artwork for South London producer Paul White’s record ‘Watch the Ants’, showcasing her beautiful and distinctive collage-style work. The illustrator went on to create further artwork, this time for White’s Street Lights single too. Music, alongside art, form two of Emily’s main passions. In her own words ‘I collect records and make dark collage paint things.’
