David Oku is a multi-award-winning, half Nigerian and half Italian Illustrator living in London. He’s had an addiction to illustration for as long as he can remember. David experienced many different aspects of the world's culture at a young age through his travels, which greatly impacted his artistry and is known for creating intricate artworks combining hand-lettering and illustrative elements.

As a child, David loved scribbling on anything he could get his hands on - a passion that has seen him through London College of Communication and into his dream job as a Freelance illustrator. Today, David draws inspiration from all his travels, the blend of his heritage culture and music creating psychedelic visuals that blend simplistic colour combinations with intricate design compositions. The support he has received throughout his career is reflected in his work, which is full of symbolism of positivity, encouragement and unity. Even his color schemes are bright, strong and powerful.

He’s worked as a professional artist since 2013 with his unique creations attracting fans and brand partnerships globally. His portfolio includes some monster clients such as Nike, FIFA, Adobe, Puma, New York Times, Asics and JD Sports to name just a few.
