Mentalink, a mural artist hailing from Valencia, grounded in graffiti roots he delves into the city's soul, infusing his work with urban narratives. His art, a blend of vector illustration and vibrant colours, depicts vivid city scenes and characters.
With a keen eye for composition, he meticulously crafts murals, each stroke reflecting his graphic design expertise. Mentalink's work is a living entity, evolving with new techniques, materials, and tools, making a lasting impression on the urban canvas. His work shows scenes from the streets and the world of graffiti through characters that seem to originate from another world. Sometimes these characters can be reminiscent of animals or found in natural environments, but all these creations are marked by a strong influence from the world of graphic design.
Trained as a designer and illustrator at the ESAT (school of art and design of Valencia), he went on to share a studio with some members of the XLF (a street art group of great prestige in Valencia), there he further immersed himself in the world of street art. Currently David has a space with 14 other artists from different disciplines who work every day on exciting projects, whilst sharing their collective experiences.
