ANKA is an illustrator based on Jeju Island, South Korea, whose work is inspired by the subtle beauty and unexpected moments found in everyday life. Through playful, imaginative illustrations, she captures small moments of warmth, humour and quiet emotion, the kind that usually pass us by.
Having studied Fine Arts, her practice gradually shifted toward illustration, where she found a more personal way to tell stories drawn from ordinary experiences. Today she works across publishing, picture books, editorial illustration and stationery, continuing to find inspiration in nature, family life and the world around her.
