We touch upon his significant art exhibitions held in both the UK and Egypt, delving into how he finds joy in the appreciation of his art by people. The discussion extends to his exploration of marketing strategies and the cultivation of his personal brand. Whilst touching on  the Pharaoh's era, the Great Pyramids, a creative dinner to rival them all, and other fascinating themes.

1 - At 13am, we aim to celebrate and showcase a broad range of creative roles, disciplines and skillsets. How would you describe yourself and your role within the creative world to those unfamiliar with yourwork?

First of all, hello 13am Studio. My thanks for the opening and a happy New Year. I would describe myself as a freelance digital artist and graphic designer who loves to create visuals representing different human emotions with a mix of scenarios and nature. I use manipulation and combine multiple pictures with touches of digital painting to create something unique, different, and emotionally resonant.

2 - Another aspect that sets 13am apart is our commitment to diversity and representation among our artists. Could you share a bit about your background and where you call home?

I was born in 1996 in Cairo, Egypt. My journey in art began in 2011, entirely through self-learning from the internet. Although I didn't have the opportunity to join the faculty of art, it didn't stop me from pursuing my passion, learning, and studying various art and creative subjects.

3 - How would you define your artistic style? Has it evolved or undergone any changes over time?

Growing up and gaining experience undoubtedly has had a profound impact. Working independently, developing your own style, continuously learning about art, and navigating diverse situations (which can be challenging at times) all contribute to expressing yourself more through art and infusing it with your unique vision. Personally, my style involves blending manipulation with artistic touches and textures digitally, transforming a photo into something entirely new, evoking fresh feelings and perspectives. I often incorporate elements of nature to convey emotions in my work.

4 - Can you walk us through your creative process? How do you transform an idea into a tangible piece of work?

First, decide on the subject you want to create art for and truly feel it. Expressing those emotions well is key. Next, explore the art direction and define your style, searching for suitable photos to achieve the perfect combination. The entire process unfolds as you work. At times, you might find yourself shaping the art piece based on your emotions, allowing for spontaneity and playfulness. The most thrilling aspect is the joy of playing and having fun while creating something entirely new.

5 - In terms of inspiration, where do you go to find this? Who were your main influencers and inspirations as you were growing up?

Finding inspiration in everything around you is truly enriching. I don't limit myself to anything specific but rather enjoy observing the world with a broad perspective. The beauty of nature, its colors, and the techniques employed by old traditional artists in the past inspire me. Additionally, I draw inspiration from music, movies with beautiful shots and cinematic scenes, as well as people's reactions and the powerful language of eyes and body expressions.

6 - What advice would you offer aspiring artists or illustrators looking to establish themselves in the industry?

Don't compare yourself to other artists when you're at the beginning. Believe in yourself and be patient. Strive to be unique, different, and special. Keep learning and improving; with time and experience, you will achieve it. Don't worry at all, just keep doing what you love. Remember, art chose you, and you chose to be an artist.

7 - Creative roadblocks affect many individuals in our field. How do you unwind and revitalize your creative energy? Are there any hobbies or passions you pursue outside of your work?

Creative block can be challenging and exhausting, causing a sense of suffering. However, as humans, we all face tough times; we're not machines. Avoid pushing yourself to create artwork during these moments. Instead, try something new without putting yourself under pressure. Take it easy and accept the need to replenish your energy. Engage in new hobbies, step away from art for a bit, but don't take too much time. It's a normal part of the process, and with patience, you'll gain the experience to overcome creative blocks.

8 - Reflecting on your career, could you share a standout project or collaboration that you consider a highlight? How did the opportunity come about?

First and foremost, thanks to Allah for the opportunities He has bestowed upon me. While I haven't yet achieved my ultimate goals, I feel blessed with everything that has happened, all written by Allah. I've had the chance to work on various projects, including creating a movie poster and a music singer's album cover. Additionally, I've been part of three major art exhibitions in my country and one in the United Kingdom, London. The happiness I derive from people appreciating my art and witnessing their expressions is truly satisfying.

9 - Can you provide a little insight into your current projects and any upcoming plans you have in the pipeline? Is there anything we should be looking out for in the not too distant future?

Now, I am dedicated to further developing myself, delving into new knowledge about marketing and exploring ways to create a personal brand that fosters connections with people. While creating art remains my passion and a constant in my life, I understand the importance of evolving my lifestyle and personal growth.

10 - What has your experience been like collaborating with 13am thus far, and what motivated you to join forces with us?

For me, it's been amazing so far, being among all these talents and showcasing my artworks alongside theirs is incredibly cool. The concept of 13am Studio is a fantastic opportunity. George contacted me and explained the idea of bringing worldwide artists together, and that's truly great. I wish everyone involved the best of luck.

11 - Looking ahead, what would be your dream project or client to tackle in the future?

My dream is to be a good person and a skilled artist, to be remembered for my unique art style. The satisfaction that comes from people recognizing and appreciating numerous pieces, the success of pursuing what I love, and gaining recognition are truly great experiences.

12 - To conclude on a lighter note, imagine hosting a dinner party where you could invite four individuals, living or deceased, who would they be and why?

Of course, sitting with Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Picasso, and Da Vinci would be a unique experience, discussing art and delving into the subjects of their own visions.

13 - If you were granted the power of time travel, which historical event would you choose to witness firsthand, and what intrigues you about it?

I would love to live in the Pharaohs' era, witnessing the inception of the first civilization and the creation of historical Egyptian monuments, including the Great Pyramids. The uniqueness of their art and the way they painted on the walls is truly captivating.
